Honk for Japan

A 3-minute YouTube clip I happened by features a guy in LA who hits upon a refreshing way to donate,  while spreading his message of solidarity among folks on his street.  With three friends our Youtube hero takes to the street,  with a placard reading,  ‘Honk, if you love Japan’.  For every honk he gets from passing motorists,  he pledges $10 for Red Cross Japan fund.
His tally at the end of an hour on the street:  $600 .  ‘People in LA are very supportive,  he says.
